| Each year, the California Surf Lifesaving Association (CSLSA) puts on their annual Regional Lifeguard Championships for California Lifeguards. This year the Los Angeles County Lifeguards will be hosting this event at Hermosa Beach. Lifeguards from around the state come together to compete in various ocean and beach events demonstrating thier extraordinary abilities to perform their jobs as ocean lifeguards.
